Isabella and Lee Wedding at Private Estate
The process: We started planning this wedding when the mother of the bride contacted me three months prior. With a quick turn around it was important to get started right away which we did. It was actually really fun to be able to get this wedding designed and put together in a shorter time span. The family and couple were such a joy to work with. They wanted a wedding designed with lots of greenery and blush to create a romantic setting. We brought in everything from rentals, furniture, upgraded place settings,lighting, draping, bathrooms, full bar and catering to a full band. It was a spectacular event for a beautiful couple!
The challenges: The wedding was held at the bride's grandparent's house that while was large enough, we had to be creative in the layout. The ceremony location was the most challenging to decide on but we picked the backyard overlooking the pool with a stunning view. This meant we had to flip the space from ceremony to reception during the cocktail hour which was held on the opposite side of the house. Other challenging aspects was making sure all electrical and power needs were met along with bringing in outside restrooms. When you host private estate weddings it is important to consider plan A, B, C and even D.
Unique elements: One of my favorite elements was the cabanas that More Rentals custom created that we used over the lawn. It was done to mimic the large cabana we put the head table under, which when you walked into the backyard it seemed like it was always that way. The challenge was getting 150 people sat within the layout, so we did 3 large 50 people tables. I wanted all tables under the cabanas and for them to have greenery draping, it was so intimate and romantic. I also loved the unique vendors we brought in such as the coffee cart and cigar rollers.
